We ordered sushi catering from Sakura Sushi Hibachi in Dunedin, Florida, and the experience was excellent. The catering trays were beautifully prepared, the portions were generous, and the salmon and sushi tasted incredibly fresh. This is easily some of the best sushi in Dunedin and one of the best sushi restaurants in Florida. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff provided friendly, attentive service from start to finish. Sakura Sushi Hibachi is a wonderful local family-owned, mom-and-pop Japanese restaurant with great prices and high-quality food. Their sushi catering is perfect for parties, events, family gatherings, and special occasions. Highly recommend Sakura Sushi Hibachi for fresh sushi, sashimi, Japanese food, affordable catering, and great customer service in Dunedin and the Tampa Bay area. Support this amazing local business!

I stopped by Sakura Sushi & Hibachi planning to grab a quick sushi roll and be on my way. Unfortunately, the sushi had other plans. The food here is consistently excellent, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every time I visit, I tell myself I’m just stopping in for a simple meal. Then the menu arrives, and suddenly I’m making life decisions based entirely on how many sushi rolls I can reasonably justify ordering. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is friendly, and the restaurant is always clean and comfortable. It’s the kind of local place that makes it easy to become a regular. What I appreciate most is the consistency. Whether you’re stopping in for sushi, hibachi, or dinner with friends, you know you’re going to have a great experience. Five stars. I came for one sushi roll and left wondering if I should create a separate retirement account dedicated exclusively to future sushi purchases. Highly recommended.

One of the better sushi restaurant experience we’ve had in a while. We chose 4 appetizers instead of the mains and it was plenty of food for 2. With 2 Sapporos and the beef Negamaki and the sushi and sashimi combos we were in heaven! We will go back.

Delicious, fresh, clean, scrumptious, yummy, there are not enough adjectives in the dictionary to describe how superior this hibachi restaurant is. Im usually not inclined to write reviews however, the service, food, and quality really prompted me too. Im pretty picky with my fish but this place was extremely fresh and clean, probably the best I've had in the Tampa area. All staff were extremely kind and pleasant. Couldn't recommend a place better than this!

Started my evening at Kobe Steakhouse as I was craving hibachi. It was packed and had very long wait times, so my fiance and I decided to come here instead and boy was it worth it!!! Everything was absolutely delicious. We ordered the seared tuna, mango sushi roll, and steak hibachi. The mango sushi was quite literally some of the best sushi I’ve ever eaten. The steak was so flavorful and melted in your mouth! The noodles and rice that came with the hibachi were a bit bland, but aside from that everything was perfect — even the ginger salad and clear soup were incredible!!! One thing just to note is that that this is a pretty small establishment with only 10 or so tables, give or take but this did not damage my experience. Excellent service and wonderful food. I will definitely be back. This was just as good as Kobe if not better and I definitely saved a lot of money as the prices here can’t be beat!
